A fifth year undergraduate student of Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Architecture, Pune, Arjun is a freelance designer. He is a supporter of Pune Biennale since 2015 and is currently working as the in-house designer for Pune Biennale Foundation.
An architect, Austin Barboza is a graduate of Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. He is currently the field coordinator at Pune Biennale Foundation and is also assisting our world renowned curators Luca Cerizza and Zasha Colah.
After graduating in Commerce, Dhanashree Kulkarni further pursued Mass communication in SNDT, Pune. She has worked through education media and television for ETV network, Hyderabad. Currently she handles administrative rsponsibilities at Pune Biennale Foundation as the administrative co-ordinator.
Having two parallel careers in dance (Odissi) and academics (Philosophy), Janhavi was ecstatic when she could bridge the gap between the physical and the mental with a new field: Social Sculpture.
A trained Odissi dancer, Janhavi underwent training for over 15 years under gurus Smt. Anuradha Gandhi in Pune and under Smt. Parwati Dutta in Mahagami Sangeet Academy, Aurangabad. She was formally inducted into the world of solo public performances through her Manch Pravesh in the year 2001. She has been a part of numerous performances local, national and international such as in England, Germany, Belgium and the UAE, and Indian cities such as Pune, Nagpur and Aurangabad among others. She have also conducted movement workshops in Germany (Weimar, 2006) and Denmark (Copenhagen, 2012).
Along with her dance sojourn, Janhavi is a student of Philosophy and has completed her MPhil from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. Owing to her expertise in dance and philosophy, she has been invited as a guest lecturer in Aesthetics by FLAME, Fergusson College and Symbiosis School of Liberal Arts. She currently teaches ethics at COEP.
Janhavi was invited as a Researcher in Residence by the Social Sculpture Research Unit at Oxford Brookes University, Oxford (Sept 2012 - April 2013). Her work at the SSRU included exploring the philosophical underpinnings of social sculpture as well as developing a collaboration with The University of the Trees to be introduced in India. After presenting a social sculpture process in Pune Biennale 2015, she is now working as the editor at Pune Biennale Foundation.
Pooja, a graduate from SNDT Women's University, Pune, has worked for 3 years in sales and for a year in event management. She worked in Richfeel Trichology center as a centre head and further joined Indranil Garai Associates as a business development executive. This is first time Pooja is working with Pune Biennale Foundation as field coordinator.
An Interior designer by profession and founder of Design Guidance, Rashmi Naik is In-charge of executions for Pune Biennale 2017. She considers her projects as art extensions of her art form. Having worked on various residential, commercial projects and corporate offices, Design Guidance follows a unique style based on an ideology towards the design requirement and experiences as sensual, dynamic environment.
Rashmi conducts practical training workshops for students of interior designing. As a member of IID she wishes to contribute in Design education to change the perception and bring respectability to the profession.
Being a scientific vastu expert she also conducts training and workshop on basic scientific vastu.
Sangita Shinde completed her qualifications in economics and political science from Mumbai University. After gaining expertise in Tally in 2011, she started her journey in the professional world and worked with various firms like LIC and medical set ups over 5 years. Currently she is the administrative assistant in Pune Biennale Foundation.
Shital is a Pune based commerce graduate. She has worked through different professional set ups like LIC, broking firms and also in risk management roles. Currently she handles responsibilities at the Pune Biennale Foundation as the administrative in-charge.
